Hey folks! It’s been quite a long time since I last gave a few news here. I’m still alive and kickin’, no worries, it’s just that I’m rather busy on the writing side of things (I have a new fantasy book out in August this year – in French, sorry).
Development of Psycho Starship Rampage is still continuing at a good clip; I am now participating a bit in the game design process itself, which is very interesting and fun. We have quite a few new mechanics in internal testing at the moment and boy, they really take the game to a next level of depth. I really look forward to that being released to the game’s alpha channel (don’t forget, free downloadable demo!) and hear what you think.
The game has been featured in quite a few videos now and I’m extremely happy with the feedback the music has received so far. Thank you all, people, for your nice welcome! I look forward to releasing more tracks and flesh out the sound effects – all of which will happen in the coming weeks; stay tuned, because a lot of information will likely come this way in the next few months.
Speaking of music… I am currently working on a new piece for the game levels. It promises to be a little bit different from the previous ones: darker, a little bit more atmospheric and epic at the same time. This is intended for use in the later levels, when the pressure has increased enough for you to grit your teeth while you mow down your enemies with all your weapons…
Oh… and it will feature voice.
Here are two very short previews lifted from Instagram. Hope you like them! And I hope to be able to show more very soon.
